Choice? No choice?

Everybody, at one point of time or the other, would have heard somebody else say it (or would have said so themselves), the phrase- "I had to surrender to it. I had no choice".
And this includes a range of situations. Career, Relationships whatever.
Which brings me to the point, one's life is one's own. The choices made, or the ones which are supposedly forced, are all the consequences, of some earlier choices. It's like a cycle. What goes around, comes around.

True, the first phase of life, birth, is not a decision or a choice, although based on some mythologies, even that is an outcome of the deeds in previous births. No one will know if it is actually true, but way of life is our choice, after all.

I mean, people say that choices are sometimes not available because there are pressures from various directions, et al, but that is the result of choice too. If one chooses to be dictated, or in other words, surrender, obviously there will be dictating around. So saying one had to surrender because you there was no choice, is almost an oxymoron.

So, choice? It's your's after all.

Interessant

Well, the reason for the name of the blog?

Because i really do not have a specific topic to share my views on. Just a way to put my thoughts across, and hoping that some others out there agree too. No puns intended, no personal jibes, and certainly no Preaching. The french for the title is random too. xD

The difference between ideas and thoughts?

Thoughts, according to me, are spontaneous. The same thoughts, infused with a little bit of practicality, and some second and third thoughts, become ideas.

To an interesting read!
